Use case 1: Customer Connection Design
Objective:
- Create a 2Mb Customer Connection from Site A to Site B
- Reserve ports and automatically reserve timeslots
- Define details for the Customer Connection
Pre-Requisites:
- Available resources
- A and B ends known by the planner (provided by the customer
connection request)
Process:
Result:
- The new 2 Mb Customer Connection has been completely planned
and provisioned from port to port and is now ready for activation
for the customer.
- The new connectivity, occupied ports, capacity etc. are now
part of the live network inventory database.
- The information should be automatically passed on to the Billing
System.
