Use case 7: RNC Area Parameter Generation

Objective:

• Generate Parameters for an RNC
• Parameters are used for configuring the NodeB's, ATM nodes and RNC

Pre-Requisites:

• The RNC status is correct
• The RNC has Node Bs connected and configured
• RNC known by the planner (provided by the Parameter request input)

Process:

Result:

Files ready to be imported to the Element Manager software.

Note the importance of these parameters, since they take a lot of manhours to perform manually.
